Constitutionally Correct : ADF Opposes Counterfeit Marital Institutions, Not the Granting of Benefits to Unmarried People
re: some advocates of 'same-sex marriage' are using fallacious arguments to scare people into voting against protection of marriage measures. "...The proposed amendments prohibit only counterfeit marital institutions such as civil unions or domestic partnerships. Alternative legal avenues exist to grant benefits to unmarried people without basing those benefits on a counterfeit marital institution that will be used to undermine the definition of marriage. The distinction between these counterfeit marriage institutions and benefits is vital. And, again, it is also one that many voters do not understand. Same-sex "marriage" advocates are capitalizing on this confusion. They need to be rebutted..."...
